Dad loved keeping the lawn around his house mowed.  He always used a push mower.  As he got older, it took him a little longer and he required more "breaks".  In summer of 2014, I noticed a stool out in the middle of the yard.  When I asked about it, he said he need to sit for a bit while mowing.  I asked him about getting a riding lawn mower and he said "no, I really enjoy it and it's good exercise".  The next summer there was two stools in the yard.   He never complained and the yard was always mowed.  On our next visit, Les and I brought him a riding lawn mover.  He loved using that mower.  He never would have asked for it and probably would have continued using the push mower, even if he needed five stools out in the yard.  That was Dad, make the most with what you got and keep on mowing...........
